These terms govern your use of Emiro (this website). By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Everything on Emiro is for general informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this site is, or should be construed as:

2. Accuracy and limitations

We work hard to keep tax rates, brackets, and rules current. We use official sources (ITD, IRS, HMRC, CRA, ATO, IRD, FTA, etc.). But:

• Rates change. We may not catch every update immediately.
• We model the common case. Edge cases (foreign income, complex corporate structures, multi-jurisdictional residency, AMT situations, niche reliefs, etc.) are often NOT modeled.
• Some calculators use approximations (e.g. monthly amortization schedules approximated from yearly totals, simplified state tax handling). Each calculator page notes what is and isn't modeled.

Verify with official sources before making real decisions.

3. No warranty

The site is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• Calculations will be accurate for your specific situation
• The site will be available without interruption
• Any errors will be corrected on any timeline
• The site will be free of bugs, malware, or security vulnerabilities

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Emiro and its contributors are NOT liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) this site. This includes — but isn't limited to — financial losses, missed opportunities, incorrect tax filings, or poor purchase decisions made based on information from this site.

Yes, we know that sounds harsh. But you understand: a free calculator can't reasonably guarantee your tax return.

5. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Scrape the site in ways that disrupt service
• Republish our content without attribution
• Use automated systems to extract calculator outputs at scale
• Attempt to bypass any access controls
• Use the site for illegal purposes

6. Intellectual property

The calculator code, design, written content, and brand are owned by Emiro. You may link to any page freely. You may quote short excerpts with attribution. You may NOT republish entire posts or calculator code without permission.

Tax rates, brackets, and similar factual information are not copyrightable. Feel free to use those.

7. External links

We link to third-party sites (government tax authorities, news articles, etc.) for your convenience. We have no control over those sites and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top. Continuing to use the site after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law
